5:50
What's changed so far?
5:52
Yeah, I think we're, like, I'm an urban market, so it's in the Twin Cities.
5:56
I have way different problems than people that have lake houses, that have, you know, people in the Smokies and things like that.
6:02
But we have a steady stream of people coming through.
6:05
That has not changed, which is really fun.
6:07
We have really good shoulder season, which is also not always normal for a lot of people.
6:12
We stay pretty busy, even though once it's winter here and it's negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit...

10 MINS LATER

16:46
How do you see it fitting in?
4:17
It's no big deal now.
4:19
Oh my gosh, I have five houses.
4:21
And if you asked me 10 years ago if that was it, I would literally think you were lying about me if you told me I was going to have that.
4:29
Um, I grew up on a farm.
4:31
My parents don't have much.
4:33
They still don't have all that much.
4:34
They just have some land, which just, sorry, they have land that is worth a lot, but they farm it.

19 MINS LATER

23:50
What do you think about the difference though between like, why don't I just rent this out to like normal people and like sign a year long lease? Like what's the difference between like short term rental and long rental? Like what's your experience with this?
4:44
So tell me a little about what you've done in that space.
4:47
Yeah.
4:47
So it is a new coaching company.
4:49
Like, I've been coaching people on and off for actually, like, 15 years probably, [laughs] because even when I was flipping houses I was, um, in a coaching program.
4:57
Like, I was in a mastermind, and I became a coach within that mastermind.
5:01
And now that I do short-term rentals, I'm just like, "This is such a great idea." So I have a new coaching program where we're helping people out that have never had a short-term rental.
5:10
Um, the business is called Wealth In Her Hands, and it, honestly it is, it was spawned because I want more women to care about building wealth, because nobody's gonna do it for you.

8 MINS LATER

12:51
Yep.
14:59
So what does that actually look like from a tool standpoint, communication? Like, how is that functioning? How are the things that still need to get done getting done while you can sort of just observe it happening?
15:12
Yeah, so a couple of the systems that I think are the most important, Price Labs.
15:17
If I had to start over my business and could only choose one, it would be Price Labs, no problem.
15:21
But that's just because we need somebody to be pricing our calendars.
15:25
I live in an urban environment, which means if Metallica all of a sudden says they're coming to town or Taylor Swift says they're coming to town, I want my prices to go up because...
15:36
Metallica and Taylor Swift are in town.
15:39
And I think that's a really, really important piece of why we need to have pricing tools.

9 MINS LATER

24:28
get it 100 so just i guess this could be helpful for someone listening to this and they're like wow that sounds great maybe i've been in a bunch of facebook groups but like what would your exact process be if like tomorrow or let's say you had an immediate need right now you wanted to hire a new person like What groups would you post? What would you write in those posts? Would you say how much the comp is? Would that only come up on an interview? Like give us the lay of the land of how that process would work.
