We can go wherever you'd like with it, but what does good look like?

There's so many examples and lots of things to think about with what you were just saying about that loss of identity and what makes a place what it is.

And it's not only the people who live in the community and the culture and the identity and all of those things.

It's the decisions that are made by government are usually that are not attached to the place at all that are then shaping how people live, whether it's employment, education, access to services, all of those decisions that are quite political and external affect our health and wellbeing much more than the individual decisions that we make ourselves because we can have all the good intentions, but if we just do not have access to the things that we need, we're not going to live the healthiest life that we could.

So there's a lot of things that influence place.

And what I think is good for place-based approaches, first of all, is just to really honour and respect the people who live in the place.

So really building those relationships and trust with the people who live there.

Let's say, for instance, in your geographic context, so in the Lotro Valley, what do you think have been some of the bigger challenges with the place-based work that either funders are doing or maybe even for the assembly? Because obviously the assembly was doing a lot of work in place as well.
