But for me, the communities directly experiencing these pressures are where I would start.

If you take areas like the Sahel or even Chad, where I've traveled recently with my colleagues from the Climate Security Mechanism and the informal expert group of the Security Council on Climate Peace and Security, people would experience temperature rise, scarcity of water and drought.

But if you go further south in the coastal areas, in the Gulf of Guinea, for example, they will see more recurring floods and coastal erosion.

Tanya, I wanted to end on perhaps where you see some of the biggest opportunities to tackle the challenges around climate change, such as water scarcity or unpredictable rainfall, of course, or drought, and this deepening insecurity that we're seeing
