So before we get into all that, Dr. Tamara, tell us a little bit about how you got to this point in your career and doing what you love to do now.

Tamara MonosoffGUEST
So, well, I was married for 38 years and didn't expect for it to end suddenly, and, uh, and it did.

Tamara MonosoffGUEST
And what I realized is that how much of my identity was wrapped up in nearly 40 years of my life with my marriage, building a family.

Tamara MonosoffGUEST
Um, and yes, I had a- another business and did all these other things, but it was so devastating, honestly, um, that I really went inward and realized, wow, I would've healed, I think, so much more quickly if I had had a community, a sisterhood, where we could talk about these real things.

Tamara MonosoffGUEST
Um, because I found that after all these years, it took me almost five years to recover, and how I felt so much shame about the marriage not working out, what could I have done differently, and, um, you know, I should've been able to fix it somehow.

Mardi WinderHOST
And it, it's so overwhelming to try to make all these decisions when you've spent all your life making decisions thinking about everybody else in your environment.
