So tell us a little bit about yourself and about your background in the 12 tribes.
6:08
So I live in Swanton, Vermont.
6:12
I am a mother of four children.
6:14
I now have three granddaughters as well.
6:18
I grew up in Vermont, and I met my husband in 1995.
6:26
We were both UVM students, University of Vermont.
6:30
And around, let's see, it must have been 1998, I found out that I was pregnant.

So very briefly, how did that happen?
4:22
So tell me what the name of the cult was and how you got involved in it.
4:28
The name of the cult is called The Twelve Tribes.
4:33
I was first introduced to this group through my husband's family.
4:38
This group had a big presence in Isle of Pond, Vermont in the early 80s.
4:43
And my husband's aunt joined this group back in 1981.
4:47
So he grew up... always knowing about this group.
4:53
His cousins lived there for a time.
