Tell us about growing up in Lismore and the impact that these early influences had on both your career and your board choices.

Susan RixGUEST
Well, I think growing up in Lismore was sort of the town where you're born and the town where your parents are born and where you grow up and your extended family is, as you said.

Susan RixGUEST
I think the influence on me was about getting a good education and my parents were very committed to me to having a good education and my father was most concerned to ensure that whatever I education I had, I could then do whatever I wanted to do, whether that be university or something else.

Clare BraundHOST
Can you recount for us how you were approached for and appointed to these roles? And you've spoken a little bit about how you managed them alongside your career as an accounting partner, but it was quite a heavy workload, which is well before the term sort of portfolio Ned was even thought of.
