So what do you feel like some of the challenges, since you've been the social worker in the school and now you're in this more of a leadership role, what are some of the challenges that social workers are facing in terms of chronic absence?

I think a lot of what we're trying to balance is working with our families and understanding that importance of the instruction that is being missed.

You know, I will say I'm older than you, and so back when I was maybe in kindergarten or first grade, maybe our standards weren't the highest of what we were working towards.

But we have a lot of really good information, a lot of standards where teachers are trying to meet.

And so I think that that's often not perceived by our families and understanding that.
