... yeah, how'd you get in musical theater?
49:09
Totally randomly.
49:10
I started out a pianist.
49:12
I went to University of Rochester in Eastman Sc- School of Music as a piano major, and then I switched to the opera department, and then I said, "What am I doing?" And then I found theater extracurricularly, and that was it.
49:24
And after I graduated college, I moved to New York with my friends and started auditioning.
53:00
Yeah, talk a little bit about that, uh, Susan, the whole, the whole two girls, kind of the little blonde, airheady, um, mean but compassionate, and the, and the, and the witch.
53:11
So when I got this job, believe it or not, I was one of the few people on the planet who had never seen Wicked.
53:18
So, uh, when I got the offer, I said, "Hm, I guess I should go see the show." So I did, and I was so thrilled, 'cause I'm a very picky theatergoer.
32:54
How was that accepted, first off? And tell us a little bit about some of the steps that it took.
33:00
Okay, well, I'll try to make this as short as possible.
33:04
I had no idea I wanted to do this.
33:06
I played the piano from second grade on.
33:08
So when I was applying to college, I...
33:12
I applied as a music major.
33:14
So I ended up going to University of Rochester and Eastman School of Music because I got the biggest scholarship.
37:00
What's that like being in the company with such a legend?
