so when I met you you were essentially an only child of a single parent that was kind of your lived experience up until that point and now that several decades have passed your family dynamic has shifted and changed and grown a lot can you speak a little bit to that

Yeah.

My father is a professional musician currently still working 85 years old, and he had a very active life before my parents met and after.

So I, when they divorced, my mom and I stayed in Southern California for a time.

And then she moved us up to the Bay area.

And that's where I grew up with her.

Um, And she was full time mom and dad.

So can you speak to that a little bit about creativity in your family? And then I want to talk more specifically about your work.
