So if you had to take a step back and present AAR in term of all the big priorities that you have or the big programs that you have that people will know you for, what would they be?
6:38
Yeah, I mean, we actually just decided on our 2026 policy goals, and a lot of what we do in health education is really about simplifying, right? 'Cause we tend to dig in more into the kind of wonkier policy regulatory issues at, at different federal agencies.
6:58
I mean, one of our original goals around sustained growth and integrity of federal research programs, uh, to advance prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and healthy lifestyles across the lifespan, that remains one of our primary priorities.
7:14
Um, we work a lot on NIH funding issues, on FDA, the user fee legislation that's going on now.
7:23
That's been a longstanding priority for us across drugs and devices.
7:28
And then we work a lot in, you know, specific areas of chronic disease, like heart disease, Alzheimer's, and make sure that Congress understands it from an aging perspective.
7:40
We do a lot in infectious disease, and I'm sure we're gonna be talking about some of the work that we've been doing, in particular in vaccines, but we also work on antimicrobial-resistant issues because older adults are at highest risk of those.

Um, I'd love to hear your thoughts on some of the recent changes to Part D and some of the work that you guys have done to make sure that seniors really know about the benefits and making sure that the reforms are really benefiting patients.
