So do you wanna give us maybe a bit of an introduction of, you know, who you are and maybe a bit of backstory, what got you to where you are now?

Yeah, absolutely.

Um, so for those who don't, as you mentioned, I'm the chief executive officer of NOPSEMA, and so I don't, uh, leave them out.

I'm also the CEO of the Offshore Infrastructure Regulator, which means we'll be regulating offshore renewables, which we hope to see some offshore wind turbines in the not too distant future.

Uh, we're a Commonwealth government agency as a regulator, uh, based here in Perth, which is, uh, unusual for a Commonwealth agency to actually have its head office in Perth.

Uh, my background, um, people sometimes see it as a bit of a strange journey, but I think it was meant to be.

I actually started life, my working life, as a teacher, uh, and spent many years as a school principal as well.
