discussion about the culture going you've been at fourth ports for a while and you've had a number of different roles what brought you to fourth ports what led you to you know to sort of think this is a place i want to be and what kept you there

I'm a chartered accountant is my training, is my background.

And I had worked for three different organizations before joining Fourth Ports, the last of which was Motorola and their semiconductors business.

And at that point in time, I had just my wife and I had just a relatively young family and It was time to look at where I was working.

Motorola's global, so you were sort of dealing with Asia in one part of the day and America in another part of the day.

And my wife had a career of her own, so we had to make some choices, and my choice was to look for a different employer at that point in time.

And my predecessor as chief executive, Charles Hammond, had just been made chief exec in 2001, and he created, for the first time, the Scottish operation.

So where does that fit into Forthport's?
