Stuart, what do you see happening specifically right now in the M&A space that is going to be discussed? Do you think people at NICC need to be aware of?

Well, lots, first of all, and thanks again for having us on.

We've seen lots of activity in the last year since we were last at the NICC together around carrier M&A transactions, as well as broker and intermediary transactions.

So we've seen Travelers sell most of their Canadian business.

We see Everest selling their Canadian carrier again to a local buyer and lots of broker side acquisitions as well too.

Navacor, Dacera, Gallagher just recently purchasing the Wilson Beck business out West.

So lots going on and then lots happening internationally that also affects Canada.

What about the ecosystems that live around insurance but aren't necessarily manufacturers of products, carriers, aren't necessarily outsourced underwriting, MGAs, and not necessarily sales, which is brokers? What about insurtechs? What about subsidiary or ancillary industries that support insurance? Is there interest in those being consolidated or within themselves or by other entities to sort of – find a new strategic direction?
