it does and i

I think it's mindset first and skill second.
16:57
Our team, my team, myself included, we've been doing SAP a long time, but this was a different SAP, right? So getting ready for it was really getting our minds ready for it.
17:12
If we'd embarked on a public cloud completely greenfield coming from a non-SAP environment, it would have been very different.
17:21
We almost had to forget how we solved problems in the past because we weren't going to solve them in the same way.
17:27
So, you know, every project is different.
17:29
So ours was, we know SAP, But let's forget the old SAP, right? This is new, right? Let's forget about the old transaction codes that we used to work.

36:16
How do you manage those multiple releases a year?
11:03
Yeah.
11:03
Um, but actually for what we use SAP for, the, the postage meter, meter, the metering of the postage and even the, the shipping usage, that really isn't in SAP.
11:15
We have a lot of operational systems that satellite SAP that do a lot of that, that sort of heavy lifting, and then this feeds into SAP for billing and, and, and so on, finance.
11:27
Um, there are a lot of functions within SAP, largely order, order to cash, supply chain and finance.
11:36
So we do take feeds from those operational systems, but we try and keep SAP to do what it's designed for.
11:44
Um, probably the one that bleeds into the most is leasing.
11:49
Um, a lot of the products that we offer, we offer under lease terms to our clients.

32 MINS LATER

And, you know, just as we come to a close now, Stuart, I'd just like to ask you, what advice would you give to professionals looking to build a career in SAP and perhaps especially those moving from delivery into leadership?
