When I was a little boy in first grade, this is my earliest childhood memory, my mother had already left my father, divorced him, and she picked up my little brother, a babe in arms, and moved to Reno.

In those days, that would be in the 1950s, believe it or not, I guess it wasn't that hard to find people because he stalked her and then broke into our apartment at around midnight, and I awoke to the sound of her body being slammed into the walls and her crying for help.
