Going down south.
8:33
Or were you looking for people to give you influence and looking for other voices?
8:39
I think to start, it was just our little clubhouse and trying to get other students to, you know, join and do radio shifts.
8:47
Um, and we'd stumbled across, uh, record service rock pool.
8:53
I mean, we were playing Grateful Dead.
8:55
We were playing album sides.
8:56
We were like FM rock and, and, uh, you know, we'd put a record on and go out in a parking lot, smoke a joint and come back in and it'd be skipping on the end and we'd have to flip it over.
9:06
And, um, But we discovered Rockpool, this radio service Mark Josephson had out of New York City.

In their premiere performance February 23rd,
1:16
The bizarre art rock outfit was allegedly removed from the club for an incident involving a thrown cigarette, threats, and obscenities.
1:25
Still Life, which had been in rehearsals for only a month before the incident occurred, recovered most of its equipment and seemed quite pleased with the entire gig.
1:35
According to group spokesman Robert Buck, members of the band's entourage were questioned about being underage and warned about shouting obscenities during the show's opening set.
1:47
After completion of the still-life portion of the show, the band retired to a few front tables to relax and get off, as Buck said.
1:56
During some wild and violent dancing by members of the band and its crew, still-life drummer Chet Cardinelli threw a cigarette butt onto the dance floor.
2:07
Buck told us a burly, somewhat obese man in his 40s was apparently in charge, requested that Cardinelli vacate the premises.
