Yeah,

yeah.

And, you know, I... know i text stone all the time you know i haven't seen jeff for a little while uh just because i'm well i stopped skateboarding so i don't see jeff as much anymore but uh you know i love those guys and you know it was just so amazing to see your friends get that successful like kind of overnight i mean it was fast it happened very fast we were doing fine you know we were You know, touring and, you know, paying our bills, playing music, which was, you know, unheard of for a Seattle band.

We were doing great.

We had no problems.

But then they went just ballistic.

And it just got so comical in Seattle for a while.

yeah.

Well do you still prefer playing to those more sweaty high-energy rooms where you can see the whites of the audience's eyes over those massive festival stages?

Well, the massive things are fun to do just because of the novelty of it.

It's not because we're drawing that many people.

And we're quite aware of our position in the whole world, right? But it is fun to do that.

And Pearl Jam are some of our oldest friends.

And so we have always had a great time doing ginormous shows with them you know um and there's some other great stuff on that that big day out but that was kind of a politically cluster of of a mess kind of you know because like what some english band pulled out at the last second like blur or something because they didn't want to play against pearl jam and i don't know it was it was too many bands i think so it was kind of a mess like we were playing at the same time as the um The Hives.

And we should have been playing, you know, before The Hives.

What do you think people have got wrong about it from what you've heard?
