So, Steve, tell us some ways and how long have you worked with Bill? Well, Bill helped out

starting with...

He contacted me with his idea about getting some people that he had had contact with together to make the band Flying Colors before we had the name or really had the band.

And it included Neil Morse and actually Cary Livgren.

Cary Livgren, unfortunately, right around that time, developed a serious health problem with a stroke.

And so we went on, Neil and I got together, and Bill was there every step of the way helping and doing stuff.

And he was really helpful with solving technical problems.

As

'Cause that's where we're all f- we're all from, except for Hugh, of course, but he's, he's our, he's, he's an adopted Hoosier now, whether he likes it or not.

Steve, the only thing you and I have in common is we both took piano and clarinet, and I'm curious to know how you segued from that and, and went into guitar, and who was it that inspired you to do that.

Hearing The Beatles on the two channels that we had, [laughs] that we got clearly, one of them was the, you know, Ed Sullivan.

And The Beatles came on, and, and they just...

Every, every appearance they ever did was recording quality.

Whether the mixer got it right or not was another thing, but they, they sounded incredible.

And I made a reel-to-reel tape recording of the TV show with the little, um, you know, Boy recorder that I had, and listened to that over and over.
