We did our job.
30:04
Nice.
30:05
Did you ever meet Canadians over there? No, we kind of were attached.
30:09
I was in Afghanistan in Helmand Province in 2009.
30:12
We were attached to Romanians and the Brits for a little bit, and then we were just kind of on our own.
30:16
How were the Romanians? We didn't really interact much.
30:20
They just drove with us in patrol.

Steve
125:44
Can you leave-
125:45
And always Joel, always Joel's, uh, post T&A, uh, shows were always entertaining 'cause I got to get a feel, too, of, like, where your guys' heads are at with storylines, and that helps kinda on the creative side of, of, of the wrestlers.
125:56
That's where I try to learn as well.
125:58
All right, what are fans thinking? What are people that are critiquing this thinking? Where can we go with this and make a twist and turn? And it just, it benefits to it, so for those that don't like the dirt sheets and these shows and stuff, it keeps wrestling alive and people talking about everything other than WWE.
127:01
... [laughs] I was trying to not spoil that it was taped, but I, I get in trouble with, for that, for spoiling taped things, so I was trying to say that it was live.
127:09
Well, that's also the thing too.
127:10
People think it's li- like, you'll know when it's live, and everything is now taped, and I think having taped episodes is more to the benefit to where it doesn't come out, where fans are just that much more in tune with the shows and wanting to be invested in the story.
3:59
Mm-hmm.
3:59
And then also behind the scenes, do what I can to help others.
4:02
And try to help them kind of in that route as well.
4:05
But I love that you start in a ring.
4:08
The day I fell, I fell in love with wrestling when I got in a ring.
4:10
It was a completely different love that I felt as a fan.
4:13
So getting in the ring and in those ropes, I'm like, "Oh, wow, this is not all what I expected this to be." But it was very relatable for me coming from being in the Marine Corps, 'cause you go to boot camp and you start from scratch how to learn how to tie your boots, how to put on a blouse, how to put on your trousers.

19 MINS LATER

23:08
When did you, when do you feel like you f- figured it out? Not that you ever feel like you've truly figured it out, but figured it out being like, "That's what it is, that's what I do, there it is."
48:16
What kind of support, what kind of advice have you been able to offer Deanna as she's navigating that journey?
48:21
Pretty much the same advice she got the day I got the phone call that I was being let go from WWE.
48:25
It's just like, all right, now it's on you.
48:26
It's like, go set the world on fire.
48:28
And the best part that you could ever have is when every bit of the weight is on you.
48:32
And now you can kind of control everything.
48:35
Cuz there are times in your career, and I know Matt could probably attest this too.

6 MINS LATER

54:55
All the time.
27:32
What is your thought process in terms of making sure that you do justice by this international championship to make sure that, hey, man, you know, for example, Eric Young really wants that championship and anybody else on that TNA roster would really want that championship?
27:49
If you're in this business and you're not trying to become a champion in any form, whether it's tag team champion, international champion, world champion, next division champion in TNA, but even in other companies, if you're not after a world title or any type of title, what are you doing this for? Those are the goals we attain to have as a superstar or as a talent.
28:06
And I've always wanted to be a champion.
28:08
I've always seen myself as a champion.
28:09
I try to carry myself, whether I am a champion or not, as a champion, just because I think that's what makes a company or a brand even better.
28:16
But first and foremost, it's Eric Young tonight at Rebellion.
28:19
That's my goal.
29:12
So what's it like for you now that we're seeing this working relationship happen?
