So can you take us back then to the moment when you realised that language itself was one of the main barriers for you and your daughter and how you found that declarative language could be part of that solution?

Um, so I'm just gonna reference the book name actually, which I have put on the website, cuz this is where we all started.

Yeah.

The, uh, declarative language handbook, um, was a book that we, by Linda Murphy, um, a book that I think we bought fairly early on.

And to start with, I was, is, is skeptical the right word? I guess I was, um, I, I couldn't see how something as simple, you know, the, the examples it gave seemed so simple.

that I was very skeptical as to how effective it would work.

So what rule or principle guided your decision making process, if you like, when you were building it?
