What are the consequences for citizens when a third-party cyber incident disrupts government services or maybe healthcare, transport, education, or even critical infrastructure?

Yeah, I think we're starting to bleed into that now, where you're gonna start seeing human consequences, right, physical world consequences to digital world actions.

I think we're gonna see it more and more with coming from Iran and, and Russia against critical infrastructure, and I think when you start seeing loss of life, which we have seen on the hospital side with ransomware, where it's taken down hospitals and, and people have passed away because of the lack of service.

I think when you start to see more loss of life coming from critical infrastructure that gets attacked, where we lose water supplies for a certain period of time, electricity for a certain period of time, it's only about three to five days before you start to have some real issues with any of those breaks in that supply chain from a, a water, electricity standpoint.

I think you're hopefully gonna see a reaction to that, where we're f- properly funding the CISOs who are responsible for those areas.

That's the goal.

You hope that that happens before, you know, there's a major impact, but that's n- usually not how it works.

And on that note, Steve, how can they, how can public-private partnerships help governments when it comes to identifying and mitigating cyber threats before they become major incidents?

So I would like to know, uh, the, the 60-second version of who you are and what you built, just the real story.

All right.

Well, who I am is a, is a husband and a dad, and professionally I've always been a problem solver, and, and I did that for someone else for a long time, for 15 years.

Solved a lot of problems, scaled a company, learned a ton of things.

And what we've built from that time when I left that corporate career is we're like, "Let's, if we're gonna do this, let's, let's really actually get after it and set some goals that are insane." And so we've been building a short-term rental company across...

We're in four markets now, and we took, uh, our two hobby Airbnbs we, that we had last May, and we've ballooned it to 27 units in the last basically one year.

I mean, they're just speaking to me, right? This video comes up from Dan, and this little kid asks him, "Dan, what's the best advice you'd give?" And he, and Dan looks at the kid and he goes, "Over your life, you're gonna have people in your life that you're gonna wish did something for you.
