Um, so like most testers, didn't come into testing with the traditional route, which seems to be the way.

Um, so I was originally an Air Force engineer, so worked on fast jets and software systems for about 13, 14 years.

Uh, and then the last, like s- probably five, six, seven years of that period, uh, I was obviously doing software testing, and it's just, no, that's what it was.

So it was like trials and evaluation, validation software work, was working based upon requirements, creating test cases, not knowing that that was even a thing.

... at least partly it's like that's po- that can be a way to think about critical thinking.
