What would you say to that?
27:58
Well, you know, I have a story in the book Authentic that introduces this concept of what do we do about an angel? We can't avoid the angel when you talk about the Book of Mormon, right? There's no getting around it.
28:11
To toss out Moroni is to toss out the Book of Mormon.
28:16
It breaks the chain of provenance, right? The whole point is that the ancient custodian came to modern times and delivered a book that was authentic.
28:25
So how do we deal with Moroni? So first off, as a lawyer, I would say, the evidence that humans offer on any subject, whether it be on angels or on a contract, boils down to the same things.
28:44
That is, we look for credibility of witnesses.
28:49
Were they honest? The people who said they saw an angel, were they honest? Were they competent? And when I say competent, I mean, were they in a position to know what they're claiming they saw? And were they sane? Were they delusional? What I'm talking about is things that we instruct juries or judges to instruct juries every day.

Well, what would you as a lawyer say would be your closing statement for the case for the authenticity of the Book of Mormon?
