So the Wimbledon Park Project seeks to extend the main site on Church Road across the road into the site of a former golf course.

So the main driver for the project, as far as the tennis is concerned, is to create a new home for the qualifying championships.

So to bring the... to bring the players who currently qualify at Roehampton onto the main site so they can also have a Wimbledon experience rather than just simply the main draw players.

In order to do that, so there's more land on the golf course than we need, and so we're giving the remainder of the site back to the public.

restoring what used to be a historic landscape park designed by Capability Brown, part of the gardens of a big stately home that used to sit on Wimbledon Hill, turning that back from a golf course into a park that we will manage as an organisation for the benefit of the people within Wimbledon.
