So, Stephen, I'm just curious, how did you get into that line of work, actually?

It's a bit of a long story Karen, you know my background is in education and I've worked as a primary school teacher for 15 years now and I was abroad teaching internationally, living the good life in many ways, living the wild life in many ways and I think as a result of that I was kind of struggling with my own personal identity and who I wanted to be and With that in mind, I was kind of a bit lost, to be honest, and looking for a purpose.

And obviously then when COVID hit, everyone was kind of really thrust into coming to terms with who they were and what they wanted to do about it.
1:26
And through that, while I was living abroad, I took on a course in life coaching, essentially.
1:34
I was kind of interested in seeing if I could help others and adults in particular in that way.
1:40
And the life coaching was done through positive psychology and it was kind of my first experience of it in early 2020.

And then from that, you know, I just got so interested in the subject and saw how my own sort of immersion in the topic was helping myself and I kind of saw an avenue for it to help other people as well.
