What would the Steven Alker of today tell the Steven Alker of five years ago? What didn't you know then that you know now?
3:14
Yeah, I think, you know, I've always... been a reasonably serious golfer, but I think just going a little bit easier on yourself, you know, that's, that's the biggest thing.
3:25
Um, gee, if you could even go further back than five years, I would have told myself that, you know, just give yourself a break.
3:31
Um, you know, your, your chances will come and yeah, just, just, just enjoy it.
3:38
Just enjoy the process of, um, trying to get to where you're trying to get to, you know? So, um, but, but I think most of all, just, um, just go easy on yourself, for sure.
3:50
Just give yourself a break and try and enjoy it more.
3:54
Yeah, I think that's probably what I'd say to myself.
4:08
Yeah, or five or ten years ago.
42:29
What technically did you work on?
42:31
yeah really small things you know when you're on the road because i'm on my fourth week and it's like um you know that the body's starting to slow down a little bit you're just trying to you know um keep the fatigue down and keep going so and mentally yeah you know you're a little bit shot you're not as fresh as you have been so uh for me it was just small things like with my putting for example i was just trying to keep the the body a little bit quieter i have a tendency to move a little bit um in the lower body Gets me kind of my putter face going all over the place.
43:00
So that was a slight change.
43:02
And then with the full swing, it was really just kind of like, you know, just covering the ball a little bit more, which means I'm kind of, you know, turning on top of it and making sure that, you know, I'm compressing the ball a little bit more.
43:14
And that's what made the difference in my eyes.
43:16
I started hitting my numbers because that's kind of my game.
43:20
You know, if I hit my numbers with my eyes, I'm always pin high.

6 MINS LATER

And I think about the company you keep and it always fascinates me because, you know, this is, it's a tournament of superstars, isn't it? And I've always wanted to know, the guys, do you all get on or are there still some titchy moments between guys on the Tour Champions?
