What are boundaries? And then I've got some follow-up questions for you.
21:42
So I have my own definition of a boundary because you're right.
21:44
Boundaries can mean so many things.
21:46
And I think most people see a boundary as this wall that you put up that can never be broken through or put down.
21:52
And the second you are loosey-goosey about it, you failed.
21:56
And I don't see boundaries like that.
21:59
I see boundaries as limits.

What are options for people who just are at their wits end and are emotionally fraught in their experience of being a caregiver?
8:15
Can you walk us through, Stephanie, of how you got down this road and into this space?
8:21
Yeah.
8:22
So, didn't think this would happen at all, but it started when I didn't even know what caregiving was.
8:30
I was 19, and my mom started to present very differently than she typically had.
8:37
She was always a little quirky, but... things definitely were different.
8:43
And I soon found myself as her primary caregiver, as a young caregiver.
8:48
And I was overly immersed in the healthcare system.

6 MINS LATER

14:25
How did the system navigate you being 19? Because I feel like the system by function is so bureaucratically heavy and complicated that one, you may not necessarily have known the processes and avenues of how to navigate health system Ontario, but then being young female, they might've been probably dismissed, right? What was that like?
