[laughs] So much going on, and I want you to talk first about what is your inspiration? Like, what made you get into this field?

Yeah.

So I have some personal stories that made me interested in this work, and I'll share the first one, which is the fact that I'm adopted and have the best parents in the world, and wanted to help people like them to create their families.

And I didn't know what path that would take, but it ended up being egg donations, sperm donation, and surrogacy.

But the story of my adoption, I'll share a little personal background of what that looked like.

So my mom ...

And it's interesting because people think infertility, having a difficult time having a pregnancy, but there's so many reasons that people pursue these other paths to have, have their children.

So why should someone work with you when they can just go directly to an agency to do these things for them?

Right.

And a part of the story that I like to tell, it just speaks to how incredible my parent-- my, my dad is, and, um, you know, they're still together today.

But my mom met my dad when she was a teenager, and they started dating, and she didn't tell him about the hysterectomy because she thought he might leave her.

Um, and then one day, to her surprise, he proposed marriage, and while he was down on one knee, she just started crying and said, "Before I answer, I have to tell you this thing that I've, you know, kept from you." And she told him, and his response was, "I am so, so sorry that happened.

I guess we'll adopt.

Like, what's your answer though? Are you gonna marry me or not?" And so they did.

They got married, and, um, still together today, and they adopted me first, and then later, who became my brother and my sister, all from different families.

What, what's the one, um, advice you have or one thing that you want intended parents to have, um, to be armed with before they embark on the journey to, uh, to creating their families, especially in the field of surrogacy?
