who
28:54
we are in this world, for women people socialize as women is nearly all constructed with how we look and how we present in this world right it's thinness and it's beauty and it's softness and it's weakness and it's like all these presentation that are facilitated with the way our body look and through time right through five, six years old to like when our brain is fully formed at 25, we build our identities and they're built around these constructs that we're socialized to.
29:38
So you want to think as our brain as an open source computer, it comes with a blank slate at the beginning.
29:44
And then it's coded with the things we hear and we see.
29:49
And that's what we call socialization.
29:51
And that takes a process of about 20 plus years to put a full coding into your brain.
29:58
And the process is justified.

38:39
Before we wrap up, what homework would you give people for more embodiment of the things that they've intellectualized but don't yet feel? Where would you suggest they go from here? Something they can actually do.
2:34
So for the layperson, right, can you explain that to them like they're five? What does that mean, the cognitive behavioral coaching and combining the two? Yeah.
2:43
So cognitive behavioral therapy is the world of Brie, right? That's the licensed work of going into people's thoughts, emotion, stories, identity, and understanding what drives their current behavior.
2:59
And is that in alignment with the world they want to go? That's licensed therapy.
3:04
In the world of coaching, we have a limited scope.
3:08
So for me, I look at the current way people are thinking, their current belief system, and how that impacts the behavior they want to have to create the goal that they want to achieve.
3:21
So an example, if they want to be liberated from diet culture, they want to change the way they're eating, we're looking at eating behavior.
3:28
We're going to use coaching questions.

And if we want to go from a health perspective, my health is so much better now than it was back then.
