And yeah, the whole thing was... problematic and and violent like it's this type of casual usage and not just of racial slurs but just like racist things and unconscious bias like going unchecked and like allowing old white privilege to just be comforted and you know protected and he was centering himself and not listening to anyone from the black community or literally anyone and um it's violent we have you know, continued violence unfolding right now in the South.

Um, we've had over 10 lynchings in the South in particular.

Um, and it's nothing is being done about it.

The, the police are naming these as either suicides or, um, quote unquote, undetermined.

I think this is the second toughest transit.

because I feel like that I'm still

It's a process, and for me, I'm like, how do I heal from past trauma? How long did it happen for? Where am I today? Not in that situation, but I can say...

Today, I'm still healing.

And it's hard.

It's so hard because, you know, when you go through so much trauma, your mind just is like, that person's going to be the same.

That person's going to do exactly the same thing.

But it is a sign that we are winning and the tides are turning.

Will there be much more violence and destruction? Absolutely.

But that our, your voices, you know, the, the post that you think doesn't go anywhere and it reaches a couple of your friends, and then they have the guts to talk to one of their friends about it, like, all of that matters, and it's a ripple effect, and it is working.
