What
6:03
started as a trickle of... phone calls has turned into a pretty good stream of information.
6:11
And I can't thank those people enough for coming forward.
6:16
They've shared this podcast.
6:18
I've got phone calls from people out from out of state who said, hey, I lived there during this time.
6:23
This is what I remember.
6:25
This is where I lived.
8:54
But the most important question for me was, had the right people come forward?
7:50
Here's State Police investigator Stephan Montgomery, followed by retired deputy Donald Sharp.
7:57
When Robert Willie was convicted, he was sent to Angola Prison, which is just outside of St. Francisville.
8:05
It's nicknamed The Farm for a reason, because it is a working farm.
8:09
And as you pull up to the guard shack, to the right there's a little white building, and that is the prison museum.
8:16
In the back corner of the museum, there hangs the picture of Robert Willie, his booking photo, and next to Sean Penn.
8:24
And Sean Penn couldn't have looked any more like him if he had tried.
8:30
They also have the copy of the script to Dead Man Walking, and I think Sean Penn's, uh, denim prison jumpsuit that he used for the filming of the movie.
10:55
Stephan told me from years of looking through files, he felt like he had figured out some things about her.
11:02
Roxanne was a...
11:04
She was, like, 5'1".
11:05
She had bleached blonde hair.
11:08
She was, um, tiny little girl, but she was, uh, a spark plug.
11:13
She was known to the police.
11:14
She would fight at the drop of a hat.

Something's gonna happen," and then it doesn't turn out, or no?
