what are some ways that we should be thinking about automation that we may have not brought into our workflows yet?

Steph BlakeGUEST
So, What I would say first is I always tell people you don't have to automate everything.

Steph BlakeGUEST
And that tends to scare people, right? They're like, if I automate my replies in my inbox, that's going to send the wrong message out and somebody's going to get mad at me or I could lose a customer, right? So when I'm talking about automation here, I'm talking about automating the things that don't need you.

So everything happening behind the scenes to really power this incredible company that you've built.

Steph BlakeGUEST
So I know that we talked about it in the previous episode with the funnel, but if you could just briefly touch on the different types of offers that you have for hobby school, because I know you have the events, membership, store, there's a lot going into it.

Steph BlakeGUEST
So let's set the stage with that first before we dive into everything happening behind the scenes.

I hadn't even thought about that, and I've just been started testing that out and it's actually been going well.

Steph BlakeGUEST
That was before I started my membership, so I tuned out anything membership related.

Steph BlakeGUEST
But that makes a lot of sense because I-- correct me if I'm wrong, I'm assuming the strategy behind that is we obviously wanna grab as much cash as possible upfront.

I use a lot of different connectors in my Claude account, so I use Claude specifically for everything, with the exception of image generation.

Steph BlakeGUEST
But for my Claude connectors, specifically, the ones that I use that save me the most time is Airtable, Fathom, Gmail, and now very recently, Kit, as of a couple of days ago, and then also as of yesterday, the Meta Ads connector as well.

Steph BlakeGUEST
And I would say, and I think everybody here is on Kit for their email, right? I think that I can say for everybody here in the room, that has been one of the most impactful connectors for our businesses because it gives us so much data from our emails, which I don't know ab- about you guys, but I was just not looking at before.

Steph BlakeGUEST
I had an Airtable spreadsheet, but I had a team member go in and manually update that, and half the time the data wasn't correct.

I would start writing it at 8:00 AM after taking my kids to school, and I would sometimes be done with it just under the deadline to get it out, [laughs] and felt like just holding the cat and watching it happen.
