When you arrived in China, did you know you were going to have three mission stars?

Certainly not.

And when we started in China now more than 20 years ago, there was no Michelin for China.

There was actually no, I think only Michelin in Japan started then a little bit later.

And then there came Hong Kong and then they developed other places.

And when there have been a rumor that Michelin might be in Shanghai, but this never really happened.

And when I started timetable in 2016, we didn't actually know and that in the same year the first guide will be launched and we learned a little bit later that Michelin will be around for inspections and this was quite a surprise and in the end it was never really a target or goal to say we want to have three stars this was never a plan and honestly I never believed we could be on this level and Achieving one Michelin star was already a big success.
