I'm always very careful with telling people how to live, because I do think it's, it's so personal, and it's always slightly know-it-all if an architect tells people how they should live their lives.

I think, you know, living in London for all these years, make sure, you know, as I've lived in horrible flats and different old rundown houses, make sure that all your sash windows work really well, so at least the piano that you're gonna play works, and they're not all painted over and, well, no, we can't open that window [laughs] and that sash doesn't work.
