So I know it's not just about, the book isn't just about one decision, but maybe give us, like, the, uh, elevator pitch of what this book is about, and then maybe we get into a few things that you talk about.
11:46
Okay.
11:46
Yeah, sure.
11:47
We, uh, being a pastor for over 30 years now, uh, I, I continue to see, uh, really people in my office, um, and- Really on kind of two paths.
12:00
So one group of people would come in and, uh, they would be trying to make a decision in their life, unsure of what to do, uh, looking for direction, and people that had good hearts.
12:11
They, they wanted to do what God was leading them to do, they just weren't sure exactly what that was.
12:17
And so, uh, they were trying to discern God's direction for their life.

Yeah.
29:59
But maybe comment on the fellowship thing and then we'll get into distracted church.
30:03
Isolation is one of our spiritual enemy's greatest tools he uses to isolate people from the body of Christ.
30:13
One area I think the church has really struggled with the last 25-30 years during what I call the church growth movement is I believe that the church diminished the idea of community and focused more on just drawing a crowd.
30:32
You can draw a crowd and you can have a good show that entertains.
30:38
And I'm all for reaching people.
30:41
That's the gospel.
30:43
But we diminish community and really focused on just drawing a crowd.

And do you touch at that touch on that at all in the book? Is that something we can see?
13:31
So when I'm living with the consequences of bad decisions in the past, God has not forgotten me, or He's not, uh, waving a, a judgmental finger saying, "I told you so," and, "You made the bad decision," and, you know, "You made the bed, you sleep in it." Um, this idea of redeeming bad decisions, i- is this a part of, of what you tackle in your new book?
13:55
It sure is.
13:56
You know, uh, we all have regret.
13:59
Um, that's part of our, our human nature, our walk on this earth, and no one's perfect.
14:07
Um, and so we all have, we, we all carry a certain amount of regret in our life.
14:12
When people say, they're asked, "Do you have any regrets, anything you'd do different?" And they say, "No, not really," I, I, I usually don't believe them, or they're pretty naive.
14:21
But, um, we all have a certain amount of regret.

19:53
Uh, give us your insights into what that all means.
11:37
So I know it's not just about, the book isn't just about one decision, but maybe give us like the, uh, elevator pitch of what this book is about, and then maybe we get into a few things that you talk about.
