I think the best thing for us was living in the same city as some of the other contestants, visiting each other and just reassuring each other like, "That's not how it happened.

It doesn't really matter." And then surrounding yourself with friends and family who go, "No, we saw your side of it regardless," that really, I think, seeing people in person or having those positive interactions in person, that really makes a huge difference.

Yeah.

Whereas people would see us walking and would pull over and be like, "My kids love you," and like, yeah.

But I think it was after the first season I made a promise to myself that I would never, ever publicly comment on anyone's page or profile or posts or whatever on social media because I think this could just be the edit.

Like, no matter how awful they may seem or narrow-minded or whatever it is, I think that has always stuck with me, that I wouldn't wanna be one of those people.
