and so the American Counseling Association Christian Counseling Association that's a new organization when we think about even being in practice and so that's part of it we don't have a long history when it comes to putting these two things together and The other struggle that we have in some cultures and communities is that our faith leaders are concerned that mental health therapists will remove their role.

And so faith leaders have been the counselor.

They have been the one, where do you go? You go pray about it, but you go take it to the pastor.

You go take it to the priest.

You go take it to the church.

And while that is scriptural, right, that we're supposed to do those things.
