I guess just seeing how women's cricket has evolved globally, how do you see that?

Sophie MolineuxGUEST
yeah look it's certainly it's it's trending up and it's trending up really quickly and it's you know for us I feel like Australia have led the way in that we probably got in a bit earlier and the women's big bash is probably the longest standing domestic league and and now we see England doing it and in India have got a WPL as well which is huge over there so So, yeah, I think Australia were probably the first to really pull the trigger on it.

Sophie MolineuxGUEST
And you could see for a long time at international level, you could see that.

Sophie MolineuxGUEST
And we're now, I think, on an international stage, but us going into that World Cup, like it was...

Sophie MolineuxGUEST
I don't think we were favourites, which hadn't been the case like that ever, I don't think.

If you are like a high performer and a perfectionist, which I imagine a lot of you guys are having to like get back up and go again, because it's so like, it is very clearly a team sport, but so much of it, particularly when you're batting as individual, like how do you navigate that? I guess mentally what it's like for you potentially, if you have a performance, that's not up to scratch, like getting back up and going again.

Just take us through, is it a little bit sweeter beating England in the final?

Sophie MolineuxGUEST
I think in their backyard at home and cricket, there was probably 27,000 people supporting England out of the 28,000 people that were there.

Sophie MolineuxGUEST
So, yeah, just amazing that we're able to produce a performance like that on the big stage in one of the biggest games we've had in a couple of years and get it right.

Sophie MolineuxGUEST
Yeah, like T20 World Cups, one-day World Cups, they're pretty special, but to add an Olympics in there as well and to potentially compete for a medal would be pretty amazing for us to look back on in our careers.
