Slade CecconiGUEST
I mean, being on a schedule and having a routine that you follow extremely close is going to help your performance.

Slade CecconiGUEST
It, you know, it's, it's hard not to, you know, people that are routine oriented and, and stick to it are going to be better.

Slade CecconiGUEST
Guys have their routine, their specific routines when they get here, their, you know, morning routines, their, their cage routines, their, their bullpen routine, like being able to just know that you're doing the same thing every day.

[laughs] Hey, uh, what'd you work on this off-season? What's your relationship like with your pitching repertoire heading into camp?

Slade CecconiGUEST
Yeah, I don't think you're gonna see a- as many big differences as you saw last year with my not only repertoire, but my c- my mechanics.

Slade CecconiGUEST
Um, we worked on sharpening up some of the, uh, off-speed, just as you're probably gonna hear every pitcher say at this point.

Slade CecconiGUEST
Sharpening their secondary stuff and looking to get more, more chase and more whiff and more weak contact with that stuff.

Slade CecconiGUEST
And also sharpening up the, the attack plan and figuring out what are my weak contact pitches that I use early in the counts, what are my whiff pitches that I use late in the counts.
AJ PierzynskiHOST
Who do you go to when you say, "Oh, I want to work on, you know, your two-seamer or your four-seamer"?
