Not just starting, but when you start to become like a good player, competitive player, what is girls hockey look like? Are all the girls playing for Dallas Stars team or what does that look like? Because I don't know the answer.

Well, honestly, when I was growing up into it, there were not a lot of people that had tried out.

I mean, I was nine years old on a 12U team and 14U, I think, lasted for two to three years.

And then 16U was two to three years because we all had to jump up.

We just aged out and there weren't that many girls.

So it was really hard to put a team together of the same age bracket.

But, I mean, it started out kind of laid back, fun.

But that extra pressure, and I'm not trying to call out parents, but it's one of those situations where it's like, I don't ever want it to be a situation to where parents are like, well, we spent a lot of money getting you around and playing the stars and this and that.
