And in at least this context, other than being, I suppose, an ex-PhD biologist, or I suppose still a PhD, but not officially part of the academy, he's very much been on a journey of shamanism, understanding what that can mean today in the digital context, in a context of rewilding, in a context of tuning into what kind of alterity what kind of altered states of sensing and connecting into what it means to be fully human and to connect with each other what that could mean and how that might be of service in this particular moment of culture my name is tim and i'm a philosopher and with that i'll pass it over to simon and for the next you know 60 70 minutes or so we're going to drop into a bit of a process together so please take it away simon

And the process we'll be doing is very much a somatically driven process, as in we're all invited to really sink into the somatic experiencing of our physical body, the senses of what can be felt within the material body, but also the extrasensory, so what is just outside of that or very deep within that.

I, I did this, uh, session on polyvagal, uh, release, and it was like, um ... or polyvagal activation, and it was all about the, the buttons on the body that you press and you manipulate in order to kind of release trauma stored in the body, and this feels a bit like that.
