I asked Simon from Lot 76 YouTube channel to give me his thoughts on the 1990 20-valve Audi Quattro press car.
1:42
Yeah, the reason I want to talk about this one, it's a 20-valve car rather than the 10-valve car, so I consider it probably more desirable.
1:50
I'm not sure whether this is Mars red or not, but this colour does tend to suffer with lack of appeal.
1:56
This one seems to be pretty good.
1:57
What I like about this car, it is a press car, but it does come with a press car premium.
2:02
So...
2:03
Looking at the prices of these, we're talking about a car that I think is guided 50 to 60.
2:58
Simon, why do you compress cars at Mandafe Private?
13:11
Are we talking about WB and Sonny? No, no,
13:12
we're talking about Matthewsons in actual fact.
13:15
Their videos and their YouTube channel feeds off their TV work and everything else.
13:19
But actually, it's quite good to be fair.
13:22
It's quite good, their walk-arounds, where sometimes, and I've seen a couple of examples recently, we saw an Escort Mark 1 van And the photographs looked fantastic.
13:34
He'd had a lot of money spent on it.
13:37
And I got there and I thought it was going to be brilliant.
15:58
i agree with you i think it has to be very broad brush when it comes to social media i think our market at the moment is quite divided in terms of demographics and age groups and i think you have a lot of people that aren't particularly familiar or comfortable trawling through previews on youtube but they do like a flick through classic car weekly or classic and sports car or classic cars and then you get other people who never pick up a magazine or a paper they get all their information on the interweb and i think that you have to i think i think print press it's always great to use it as a platform to direct and to drive traffic to where you can show a more detailed description like a video on youtube for example but i don't yeah i do i think there's a place for both particularly like i say given the demographic of the classic car buyers
