And the tone is important, too I love your tone because it's very aggressive like it's not smooth, like what's your philosophy on a kick-ass hard rock arena tone?

it's got some teeth yeah you have to have well i'm old school in a way so i i don't you know i have a lot of the modern you know gadgets like you know uh quad cortex and stuff which i use in the studio and i think is great but live i'm always that old school kind of a player i'm used to the old you know fire breathing dragon of marshalls or whatnot that you know that kind of thing where basically it's like i'm shouting at you you know how many play um So, yeah, you know, the angle, you know, I started using the angle stuff when I joined Purple, and, you know, they kind of, it was nice.

I used Steve's head for a while, and they're great, but, you know, again, it suits Steve.

It's a bit more compressed and a bit more high gain, and plus there's too many buttons on it for me.

I'm a very simple guy.

I just like, just give me my bass, mid, treble, gain, volume, done.
