Yeah.
29:35
And what that means is that enhances our connectivity.
29:38
It ensures that passengers can get to the major hub banks around the world so they can just get to more destinations more easily.
29:44
It enhances choice and it means that we can grow across the aviation sector in all of Australia because if you constrain Sydney, you're constraining, particularly in those peaks, which is when people want to fly, then you're constraining everywhere else because this is how important Sydney is to the rest of Australia in aviation terms.
30:04
And so it's just wonderful.
30:06
But we've had 40 years of land use planning as well.
30:09
And so what that's meant is that under our runways, At the end of the runways, we don't have built up residential.
30:57
Brilliant.
16:22
And so as a result, people are able to live close to the place that they work, close to the place that they commute.
16:28
Already today, more than half of Sydney lives west of Parramatta.
16:32
That's an incredible stat.
16:34
And one in ten Australians live here in Western Sydney.
16:39
It's the third largest economy in Australia.
16:42
The third largest.
16:44
So it's a magnificent place, 170 different ancestries here in Western Sydney, which means that just someone from everywhere has moved to Western Sydney.
17:45
But that's the thinking that's gone into this.
70:56
Are there differences at this airport compared to what we're used to at Mascot?
71:00
Well, I think we're gonna open...
71:01
We- we're opening a greenfield airport, and it's the first one we've had in Australia for over 50 years.
71:06
So that means we are using technology that wasn't around [laughs] 50 years ago, and is still not fully implemented elsewhere.
71:13
So our check-in process, we're using kiosks.
71:15
We- we- we- we, um, biometrically enabled, so you can just walk up to a kiosk, uh, as we move forward.
71:22
If you, if you want to get into that system and, and you just stand in front of the kiosk, and it'll print you out a bag tag.
75:02
Any special food offerings?
1:00
I remember when I was a kid in the 1980s, we were talking about this airport, but realistically, it's happened today.
1:04
It's 40 years in the baking, but...
1:09
We're here today, a major milestone.
1:11
So we're open for business.
1:12
Our first commercial flights, as you say, will take off tonight.
1:15
And that's a great milestone for the thousands of people who have worked at the airport.
1:20
You know, millions of hours that have gone into this.
2:13
Why doesn't it have a curfew? Why is that important for you?
