How did that go from, does anybody want to read War and Peace with me, to this is my full-time job? Did you have to give up some work to do it? Because I doubt very much when you were a little boy, you thought, I want to be a sub-stacker.

No.

Well, I mean, I did have...

I did have this dream of, well, I kind of wanted to be a writer and I wanted to, I had this, I said like, when I grow up, I'm going to be an old man with lots of books behind a big old desk writing.

And the next question would be, well, what do you want to do in the meantime? That's fine.

You're not going to be an old man for quite a while, hopefully.

So that was my aspiration.

Yeah.

So I'd love you to just talk us through the timeline from Instagram to like here and now.

Yeah, it's, it's, it's the, the, the progression that it's gone on has been sort of taking up more and more of my time and, um, uh, that needing some sort of remuneration, um, some justification for me to carry on doing this as opposed to other work, other writing work that I, that I was doing previously and freelance writing, um, and other jobs.

Um, It started off on Instagram very much as a passion project where I thought, I love this book.

I want to do this.

Does anybody else want to do this? And you know how Instagram, the bizarre way the Instagram algorithm works, where you sort of put up a post and you don't think anything's going to happen to it other than Thousands of people see it.

And my kind of little bookstagram, Instagram account kind of exploded at that point with lots of people going, oh, yeah, this is a really good idea.

And it's not even my idea.

And I'd love to hear your take on all of
