We certainly think that the more money we make, then the more profitable that we're naturally being, because surely isn't that the equation? Isn't that the way that it works? But with your work with Insight Dental Consulting, tell us more about that and what you're finding.
7:44
Yeah, well, it's probably easy to start with my journey on the story and where we went through.
7:47
So in 2015, I was in a coaching group.
7:52
We decided we set out a game plan and a method to buy 10 dental practices.
7:56
And we were going to expand the footprint of my brand.
8:02
And we were going to 10 dental practices, three to four chairs each.
8:06
We honed in that we thought that three chairs, we didn't need the extra management, stereo staff, one receptionist.

And I want you to maybe just give our listeners a sense of what that business is looking to do for other practitioners in dentistry.
1:05
We had grand plans to expand my practice.
1:07
I wanted to buy four, five, six practices and have this team of dentists working under me.
1:11
I could train them and I was going to take over the world one tooth at a time.
1:13
It was going to be awesome.
1:16
Uh, then COVID hit and really destroyed that.
1:20
Uh, and the money that would set aside to, the capital that would set aside to, to do that venture was spent on keeping our heads above water, really.

2:54
So if you let business own, where are they ending in five or 10 years? Are they- 100%.
MarkHOST
5:23
Yeah
5:23
...
5:23
the Business Networking International.
5:25
Um, and I'd go out and find the person I'm looking for.
5:28
Uh, two leads that I actually chased heavily at the start was we produced a program early in the days with my hygienist, Jenna, um, on diabetes, because all diabetes have, or diabetic, people with diabetes, um, or people managing diabetes, have a high risk of gum disease.
5:42
So we found that that was something that wasn't being used and utilized and educated in that population, so Jenna, Jenna pushed that pretty heavily.
5:49
So we would use the BNI networking group to get involved with Diabetes Australia, and then we started lecturing for Diabetes Australia.
