And then because I was doing well at the time in my directing career, I got in contact with the people at the channels in the UK and just said, look, do you mind putting me in front of the film department? I think I've got something I'd like to talk about.

But I've never been outwardly confident when I'm stepping into a new area.

And even if I didn't do it, somebody would have, somebody needs to do it.
