And that's challenging.
10:03
Yes.
10:04
You basically just talked about the first chapters of the book.
10:07
Yeah.
10:11
I work a lot with I love inner child work and that's one of the main things that I did when I had my panic attacks I was doing a lot of that brought me to inner child work and so I was doing a lot of that I still do because what I tell people is this is an ongoing relationship it's not like you go you heal your inner child and that's it bye no it's like you start a relationship with yourself through your inner child anyway That is another conversation.
10:40
But having said that, yes, because I was that little girl that dreamt my whole life to be in a relationship.
10:52
That's all I wanted.

Now, why do you think anxiety and the panic is so common with women these days?
9:00
I think it's related to what we were talking about.
9:02
I think there's a lot of pressure, um, to perform, to exceed, to look in a certain way, and especially women, we wear so many hats that it's almost, again, we're not machines.
9:16
What are we doing? Right? It's a lot of pressure for just one human body to take on.
9:22
So there's this like, I have to be an entrepreneur, I have to be a working mom, and at the same time being a mom, and at the same time holding the household because most of us, that's the truth, most of us, we're the ones who are cleaning and organizing the home and keeping things together and buying groceries and paying the bills.
9:39
I don't know.
9:40
And so especially for women, it gets... it's a lot.

8 MINS LATER

17:56
Yeah.
11:59
I've seen a doctor that can prescribe you panic attack medications, not go to Sylvia the numerologist to help me learn about myself and how to balance out my emotions and to regulate-With anxiety
12:20
Yeah.
12:21
And it's okay for people to go first to the doctor, and I- sometimes I tell them, "That's fine," you know? As a psychotherapist, I tell them, like, "We should always go and make sure that you're doing great, your body is okay, your organs are doing great," right? And then after that, then we go deeper.
12:37
Because most of the time they come and say, "Well, everything was great.
12:40
Like, the tests were all amazing." And I'm like, "Well, great.
12:44
Good news." And they're still like, "No, no, there's still something wrong." And I'm like, "Okay, that's fine.
12:48
We s- we can work on that." And then we can start to...
16:20
At least seeing clarity and getting us through that.
