So tell us a little bit about yourself and your love of silent film and what makes it so very special to you.

My name is Sigrid Limprecht.

I'm the director of the International Silent Film Festival in Bonn.

I'm a lover of silent film with live music for long time.

My love is to present film heritage in a modern way now.

The challenge is, is to transfer film heritage from over 100 years ago to the actual audience.

The key is the music.

Now, while this festival is new to me, it actually has been around for quite a while, right? Tell us a little bit about that history and its unique atmosphere.
