I was like, florida i had to like take a double take as i'm walking down the street i'm like wow people are actually like talking about this stuff on street corners so is this going to gain like you know a boatload of mainstream traction or maybe it already has and and this is like a new reality
Sid NagGUEST
i mean yeah i think the price the price is right right that's what they say so let's see how that how that plays out but i have my own doubts about how this is going to I mean, it certainly generates, affords more customization, portability, customer control, and all of that, right? No doubt about that.
Sid NagGUEST
It's going to create heavy-duty competition for, you know, license-based and subscription-based software, depending on the software of your choice that you've been using.
Sid NagGUEST
But I think AI-generated applications in general require, you know, much more creativity.

know some people may not be as bright as others but um sid as this continues to progress it seems like the cost of creating deep fake attacks is dropping to zero and there's still plenty of gullible people out here so is this 40 billion going to be 80 billion and how big does it get

And therefore, maybe we'll see more of these mergers between what are classically hardware companies and software companies.
Sid NagGUEST
I mean, to build that sort of software intelligence substrate within the physical layer of this utility type of functionalities that serve data centers that are serving the creation of AI itself is kind of very interesting, right? And I think that's where, I think you're going to see more and more of the intelligence layer creep into the physical utility layer, right? And there's no escaping that.
Sid NagGUEST
I worry, though, because for ai that influences physical equipment and you know customers should also demand i think the the others refer to this additional clear boundaries between recommendations and autonomous actions right and this has to be a human intervention at some point especially for critical things like utility and electricity and those kinds of things right so i think That's something that worries me.
Sid NagGUEST
But yeah, I mean, the software layer will hopefully build that intelligence and have the ability to fork off things when it detects a potential vulnerability or potential risk to a human so that you don't have rogue agents going nuts like we've seen in the world of AI in general.
